The RoughNUC-BTS intelligent systems are built with an Intel® Atom™ processor providing a great balance between price and performance for value-conscious application developers in the embedded computing markets. These low-cost, low-power Ultra Compact Form Factor solutions are configured as fanless thermal solutions for the ultimate silence and reliability, onboard eMMC flash storage for small-footprint software solutions (i.e. Linux Lite, etc), internal eDP flat panel display connectivity for built-in screens, video graphics array (VGA) port for monitor compatibility in legacy installations, serial ports header for peripherals requiring the robustness of hardware handshaking, watchdog timer for resilient system availability, and also inter-integrated circuit (I²C) and pulse width modulation (PWM) signals for interfacing with sensors and other embedded devices.
Powered by the Intel® Atom™ processor E3815, RoughNUC-BTS systems also provides an ideal combination of power consumption, performance, affordability, and software compatibility to drive intelligent Internet of Things gateways, digital signage, point-of-sale, and kiosk solutions, amongst other usages. Applications taking advantage of the onboard 4 GB of embedded MultiMediaCard (eMMC) storage, will benefit from a lower overall system-level cost. Entry level RoughNUC-BTS systems start at $295.00
