RoughNUC-Plus systems are designed around a number of Intel’s “Next Unit of Computing” boards (NUC) ranging from Atom, Celeron, Pentium, Core i3, i5 & i7 processors.

Our third generation of RoughNUC-Plus platforms offers the I/O expansion you need with the processor you want beyond that of a standard NUCs. Expansion options include but not limited to Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, RS-232/485, CANBus, Frame Grabbers, etc. Cadia Networks offers several standard configurations, but can customize I/O to meet the specific requirements of your application.

The RoughNUC-Plus chassis has a small footprint of 150mm x 200mm x 47mm and offers highly efficient conduction cooling, "RoughNUC-Plusserving as both a case and passive (fan-less) heatsink for the Intel processor. Systems are available in both commercial and extended operating temperatures.

These new generation computing platforms provides flexible, customizable compute engines to drive digital signage, kiosks, video image capture, surveillance, HMI controllers, in-vehicle applications, command & control, industrial control, and intelligent computing for small spaces, or anywhere else you can imagine. The ruggedness of the RoughNUC-Plus make it ideal for a wide range of markets and applications including aerospace, oil exploration, mining, in-vehicle, defense, process control and many other embedded applications.
